"Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill...." (Joel 2:1). "For God so love the world that He gave His one and only son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life".(John 3:16) Through the love of God the Voice of Hope ministry (Stem Der Hoop), although not a large church is very enthusiastic, with people from different nationalities and backgrounds. Jesus who is the way, the truth and the life is the head of the church and everything is centred around Him and no one else.
We believe that the Word of God from Genesis to Revelation is Spiritually inspired and therefore the ultimate truth. In His prophetic word, the Lord said: "heaven and earth may pass away but my words will not pass away". (Matthew 24:35) We believe, therefore, that in our ever changing and the eventful world, God never changes. He is the same today, tomorrow and forever more (Hebrew 13:8). What He said in the beginning, is what He is still saying today; His plan for mankind is the same in spite of our obstinacy. His plan for us is that of hope, prosperity and a wonderful future.
We believe that the Holy Spirit of God can still dwell in individual Christian today as it was in the days of old. We share a similar biblical view with true Christians all over the world and believe in the threefold personality of God. At Voice of Hope (Stem Der Hoop), we emphasise the importance of discovering who the Living God is through His Son Jesus Christ.
We believe in the rapture and the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We also believe in life after death; that heaven and hell exist, according to the word of God. After we have completed the numbers of days allotted to us here on earth, which is inevitable, we will go to either of those two places. Where we go depends on how we walk with Lord right now. It is His utmost will that where He is, we shall be also. Do you know him?
Do you know Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ? If not He is inviting you to come unto Him with all your burden and He will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)
We still see Israel as the chosen people of God, not because they are holier than other nations of the world but because of the covenant, God made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Although the Jewish people had often gone contrary to the will of God, just as it is now in our generation; He hadn’t abandoned them, as advocated by the proponents of replacement theology or supersessionism. It is very clear in the book of Romans, chapter 11, that God hasn’t rejected His people. On that inspired word of God, we stand. Ephesians 3:6 - "... the gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body..."
